What this is

Across Europe, parties, candidates and campaigns have to declare who gives them money. The registers are public, but scattered across 41 authorities, formats, currencies and languages. Donorscope puts them in one place: every declared gift, converted to euro and linked to the European Parliament group of the party that received it.

Search any name

A person, a company, a trade union or a party. Donors are matched within each register, so a profile shows everything a name has given, year by year and party by party.

Filter and compare

Narrow the register by country, donor type, sector, European group, years and amount. Rank by total given, sort by date, export what you see to CSV.

Check the source

Nothing is estimated or taken from the press. Every donation links back to the official file it came from, and the method page lists each register's rules and limits.

Built by a fundraiser

Who already gives to causes like yours? That is where fundraising starts.

I work as a fundraising consultant for political, advocacy and non-profit campaigns in Europe. I built Donorscope because the information on who gives to politics is public, but scattered across dozens of registers, formats and languages.
