European groups and the donations to their national parties
Donations go to national parties, not to groups in the European Parliament. Here each gift is counted under the group where the receiving party's MEPs sit in the 2024–2029 term, so that giving can be compared across borders.

How to read it
- Mapping
- Every national party is linked to its European party and to the European Parliament group of its MEPs. Parties with no MEPs in the current term are under “No group”.
- Weight of each country
- A group's total depends on which countries its parties come from: the United Kingdom's Conservatives (counted with the ECR) and Labour (S&D) alone account for large shares, because British registers are big and long-running.
- European level
- Donations to European political parties and foundations, published by the Authority for European Political Parties, appear under the country “EU level”.
